We felt such a warm welcome from Dave when we joined the Snowdonia Challenge family and every year since we enjoyed Dave's good humour and sense of fun. One abiding memory is being hailed 'Hello Jon' from an empty section of forestry in the middle of nowhere before realising that Dave was hidden in the woods in full camouflage on 'run patrol'. We missed Dave this year but will remember him very fondly whenever we come to Snowdonia. Our sympathy is with all Dave's family.
